ORTHODOX HOLY LAND
The Monastery located in front of the Holy Sepulchre is the Greek Orthodox Metochion of the Tomb of the Virgin Mary Gethsamene. Walking up the stairs, the pilgrim will find the church with a silver icon of Panagia. In the afternoon before the Dormition Feast, the icon is processed down to the Tomb of the Virgin Mary in Gethsamene.

The Church is open most nights from 6pm. A lights in the church can be seen from the courtyard through a small window if it is open.

Entrance
The entrance is from the courtyard of the Holy Sepulchre.
Icon of the Virgin Mary
The Virgin Mary is processed from the Metochion down to the actual Tomb of the Virgin Mary in the afternoon before the Dormition Feast.
